The Gran Canaria Island is one of the islands of the group of Canary Islands. Among these islands, it is the second most populated island. This island has a population of over 845,000 people. Among all the islands of Spain, this island is considered to be the third most populated island right after Tenerife and Majorca islands. The Gran Canaria Island is located about 150 kilometers off the northwest coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. The island’s capital is the city of Las Palmas.
